Things to do Before You Start the Semester

• Talk to a Counselor
• Get a Student Card - available at the Student Activity Center
• Buy a Bus Pass - cheap for students, available at the Windward CC Bookstore
• Buy your Textbooks - available at the Windward CC Bookstore, also consider getting a pocket English Dictionary
• Fill out your Weekly Schedule sheet
• Take any Placement Tests you need - available at The Testing Center
• Print out a map of the campus
• If you don't read your UH email, then forward it to your email - download a PDF guide
• Find places to study
• Familiarize yourself with the library resources
• Organize your binders

Things to do During the Semester

• Join a Student Club
• Complete the Computer and Information Literacy (CIL) A.A. requirement - it will help you in your classes
